Finding a Pattern

Following on from my Purple Studies, I have painted a set of small, square abstracts in the same colour palette on paper. I did this exercise to create some more compositions and to find a pattern in all of them.

Instead of putting pictures of all of them on this post, here are a few pictures of them laid out together. Taking inspiration from the Another Line To Follow exhibition, I tried piece these abstracts together to find a lines that can flow through them.

This was a fun exercise, but I'm not sure if I discovered anything useful from doing it.
