Painting Snow

After visiting Nant-y-Moch last week when it was covered in snow, I decided to do a couple of paintings from the photos and sketches I collected. I have now finished these paintings and I am very pleased with them and I know I will be painting more snowy landscapes in the next few weeks as I enjoyed doing them so much. Blue and grey are my favourite colours and the colour palette of a landscape in snow does largely consist of these two colours which may be why I am so enthralled with them. I have included photos of these paintings below.
